Famoso fã de livros, Barack Obama publicou no último sábado de 2019 a lista dos seus livros favoritos de 2019. O ex-presidente listou 19 títulos – entre romances, não-ficção, investigação e reportagens – que “tornaram o ano passado um pouco mais brilhante”, nas suas próprias palavras.

Entre os livros de Obama estão, Arquivo das crianças perdidas, da mexicana Valeria Luiselli e publicado por aqui pela Alfaguara; Girl, Woman, Other, de Bernardine Evaristo, vencedora do último Booker Prize; e The orphan master’s son, de Adam Johnson.
